The Beginning of the Academy
If there is a student that wants to learn, let them learn. If there is a teacher who wants to teach, let them teach. This is a responsibility and commitment of our community.
In 2024 people with different backgrounds and experiences met in Burkina Faso to discuss education. We talked about possible ways of improvement.
Our group met with various leaders who also shared our concerns. People expressed positive feedback about our project. A challenge presented to us, why don’t you make this education program available to everyone?
The People Have Spoken
On a warm and pleasant summer day the community celebrated. People from throughout the community, former members of ministries and friends attended our launch event. Members of the Diaspora, teachers, and students were present.
Essentially, people from all over the world were represented. Our event was broadcasted live to more than five African countries. It is a new time, a new day, and a new way of moving education in our community forward. Not just for teachers or students, but for all those who have a desire to learn.
It has been a while since education has experienced a fundamental shift. Many people agree, the way education operates has changed. Today, we look forward to the future of The Sahel E-Academy.
